“Currently, they receive only 275 euros a month in denigrative and inhuman working conditions. Organised on their right to work and dignified lives, they are seeking not to be treated as a commodity offered by businesses for the state, as defined by the state through public-private partnerships but as people of flesh and blood and labour that enable the work of this institution”.
The “Gravist are in their cause. However, they seek our help so that their experiences and requirements can be heard and solutions can be found. As workers develop their resistance openly in the court of the Parliament, we are forced to join and support their cause for human treatment at the place of work”.
Their demands for pay and dignified treatment should all move us and come to the square and ask the state to deal with dignified workers, not as cheaply bought goods. Their strike is an important moment of the political articulation of the working class situation and the rejection of the increased depreciation of the working/it”, the organisation's announcement said.
