These meetings have been held in connection with the draft law on amending the Law on Retirement Plans Funded by the State.
In order to brief the heads of the Parliamentary Groups regarding the legislative initiative by citizens to adopt the Bill on Change and Fulfill Law No. 04L-131 for state-funded pension schemes changed and fulfilled with Law No. 08L- 248 and seeking the support of all deputies from these political subjects, after meeting with LDK Parliamentary Group chief Arben Gashi and VV Parliamentary Group chief Mimoza Kusari Lila, representatives of the SBASK have had separate meetings with the head of the AAK Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, and with PDK Parliamentary Group chief Abelt Tahiri. ”
Even in these two separate meetings, the president of SBASK, Nakman Jasharaj, along with Deputy Mayor Vjollca Shala, interior organisation co-ordinator Ymer Ymer and legal official Blador Shatri, have informed the heads of the AAK Parliamentary Groups loyal to Tahiri and Abelart Tahiri about the reason for this legislative initiative with citizens, about the commitments until the moment of giving up thousands of solemn signatures to Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauka, which will take place early next week. ”
The SBASK has asked MPs to support this legislative initiative by voting the draft law on changing and completing Law No. 04L-131 for state-funded pension schemes.
The SBASK representatives have also requested at these meetings that the deputies of these two political subjects support this legislative initiative by voting the Bill on Change and Fulfilling Law No. 04L-131 for state-funded pension schemes changed and fulfilled with Law No. 08L-248. The chiefs of these two Parliamentary Groups have commended the SBASK for this activity and have voiced confidence that Kosovo Parliament MPs will support and vote on this bill, which is legislative initiative by citizens. ”
