He said in a Facebook report that for treatment of this disease he has to provide a drug that costs up to 8 thousand euros, even though such medicine is on the essential list but that MS has decided to distribute to patients suffering from lung and skin cancer.
Koci says his life and that of others depends on bureaucratic decisions and absurd policies of the Ministry and Government.

But I have to face an extraordinary challenge because of the unjust circumstances in our health system!
In recent days, I've been diagnosed with liver cancer. After a series of tests conducted at the Oncological Clinic in Pristina, oncologist confirmed that I suffer from a particular type of liver cancer. In line with international health protocols, the doctor described standard therapy, including the use of an essential medicine. Pembrollizumab) for treating this type of cancer. This form of medication has also been recommended by foreign ocologists from the world's oncology clinic.
Unfortunately, although this drug is on the essential drug list, the Ministry of Health has decided to distribute it only to patients suffering from lung and skin cancer, leaving out patients, such as me, suffering from liver cancer. This drug is not found on the regular market and can only be obtained illegally, at an affordable price -- up to 8,000 euros per dose.
This situation forces me, like many others who need this drug, to face a harsh reality where my life and others depend on bureaucratic decisions and absurd policies of the Ministry and Government.
It is unacceptable that in a time where medicine has advanced so well and there are opportunities for healing, you can be deprived of the right to treatment because of such limitations! Urgent intervention is needed to change these policies and save the lives of those who need these drugs.
You're supposed to die for a drug that's found in an oncology clinic, but that the Minister has limited its use selectively!
