In this case, Fidan Matti is accused of taking 100 euros in the quality of the police official from damaged A.F., which he had banned for overcoming speed, reports the “Justice Vow”.

Prosecutor Beciray-Hysen said that after holding hearings of this issue and managing evidence, it has come to the conclusion that it has proved that the accused Matti has committed the criminal act, which is being placed on him.

She demanded that full faith be forgiven the statements of witnesses and of the injury, which she deemed lawful and reliable.

Beqiray-Hyseni proposed to the court that the accused plead guilty, and as a grave circumstance to get the will, the fact that the same is an official person and the breakup of the image of the Kosovo Police, while as an extenuating circumstance corrective behavior during the judicial review, and in the end proposed that the court also utters complementary punishment.

While lawyer Bocshi said his defense has not committed the criminal act he is accused of, that evidence is insufficient and that they are not reliable.

In the end, he proposed to the court to apply the principle “to the dubio pro reo” and to its defenders to take over the legal act.

At the session, held on September 4, 2024, the accused Matti was declared innocent.

Otherwise, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova on November 6, 2023, has filed charges against indictees Fidan Matti, who is accusing him of acting in the quality of police official at the Gjakova Police Station, directly requested and accepted money in order not to act in accordance with his official office.

The indictment said that police official Flamur Frokaj had stopped the vehicle he was running A.F. and had announced the same was over the speed of 50km/h where he was driving at 80km/h, and that she should be pronounced a 300-euro fine and confiscated driver's license for six months.

According to the indictment, the injured official informs the police officer that he lives abroad in Switzerland -- and asks the police officer not to take his driver's license, where the same leads the injured to go to his colleague, defendant Matti, who was in the police car.

The indictment reportedly damaged as it approaches the police vehicle, defendant Matti asks for 300 euros, while the same had responded that 300 euros are not only 100. He agreed with this amount of money and instructed him to put this money in a book and not let anyone notice it.

One according to the indictment, damaged goes to her car. takes 105 euros and puts them in the booklet, then gives it to the defendant Matti, while after he accepts that money, he returns it by not giving him any evidence of this kind of payment.

For this, accused Matti is being charged with committing criminal work “taking bribes” from Article 421, par 1. Penal Code.
