The Kosovo Assembly has failed to ratify three international agreements at today's session, in the absence of quorum.
The first bill to be put to the polls was for ratification of the Funding Agreement for the first program for “Funding development policies for fiscal efficiency, competitiveness and green growth”, between the Republic of Kosovo and the International Development Association,
There is no quorum to vote on this international agreement. It remains a future session”, Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjufca has declared.
In the absence of corumm, the Parliament was able to pass the draft law on ratification of the amendment to the Kosovo Republic membership agreement at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group organisations. 74 MPs participated in the vote.
The third agreement that failed to be approved was for loans between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Investment Bank for the photovoltaic solar power project at KEK Global Gate.
