Four years ago, they had joined forces with Movement “Vetevendosje”, with what cases it won more than 50 per cent of the vote in the February 14th 2021 elections.
After coming to the helm of the government of Albin Kurti, the leader of Vetevendosje, some have abandoned the subject they had competed with in the recent parliamentary elections, and others have consistently expressed disappointment with Kurti and the party that leads him because of various bills.
Already when President Vjosa Osmani has announced February 9th of 2025 as the date for holding new parliamentary elections in Kosovo, some of the MPs removed from the biggest political subject in the country show whether they are politically engaged, while those dissatisfied show whether they will continue to stay in the “Movement “Movement”.
In Kurti 1 government, Hakki Abazi has held the post of deputy prime minister of Kosovo, while in the government's mandate “Kurti 2” has led the Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Policy for several years.
While in May 2023, the LVV Parliamentary Group had decided on MP Haki Abazi's expulsion.
His expulsion has come a day after MP Abazi has claimed he was orchestrated by a physical clash with MP Salih Zyba on orders of Prime Minister Kurti of VV deputy chief Mimoza Kusari.
Already as independent MP Hakki Abazi has not decided what his political position in the upcoming elections will be, at least so he has indicated.
“I haven't decided yet anything”, Abazi said briefly about Front Online.
In March 2023, the Vetevendosje Movement remained with a less deputy. It was Deputy Fatmir Humolli. He left the VV because of not fulfilling the conditions he presented at the moment he entered the party's election list.
Asked what his party position in the upcoming elections will be, independent MP Fatmir Humolli says no current party will participate.
Hummolli has indicated that it is under way to form a new group.“With no current party what they are, I will not be part of the elections. If there are opportunities to enter with a group of friends who are working well that create opportunities for no one”, Hummolli said.
The former VV delegation says that with this party it did not work out co-operation, as according to him, the latter did not keep their word.
The VV's “and the VV combined energy for a mission didn't work out because they didn't keep their word. I have to be empowered as a group, so I think, and some early political activists who are”, Hummolli said.
One of the MPs who has been opposed to certain bills that have backed the party he participated in (Develop “Vetevendosje”) is VV deputy Gramos Agusholli.
Agusholli has announced that he has not yet decided to continue his political engagement.
He says he either continues to be with Vetevendosje or leaves politics. I haven't decided yet whether I will continue my political activity, probably so. Either I keep where I am or I leave it at the whole”, Agushholl said.
