Osmani: I represent a Republic that is an example, and a people that have fought

President Vjosa Osmani has said that Kosovo's history is a story of confidence in democracy.

In her speech in Postdam, Germany, after receiving the “M100 Media Award”, she stressed that she represents a people who love democracy and who fight for it.

“We stand for freedom, for dignity, for the promise of a world where a country's power does not depend on its size, but on its ability to stand on the right side of history and defend democracy”.

The more I think about it, the more I believe this price is not just for me; it's about what I represent. I represent a people who have fought and who continue to fight steadfastly to protect our hard - won freedoms. I represent a Republic that has become a shining example of what democracy can achieve. And that makes me deeply proud”

“In this spirit, I dedicate this award to those who came before us: dignified citizens, workers of my country; as well as to those who will bring the fan forward for a brighter and most hopeful tomorrow”, Osmani said.
