Osman: September 11th day of pain, memory and steadfast solidarity

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, on the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th tragic attacks, said the horror and meaningless loss of nearly 3,000 lives remind us of the fragility of peace and deep pain that this terrorist act has caused.

In a Facebook post, the country's first forward said that on this day, Kosovo stands alongside the American people, in defence of peace, justice and a better future, Klakosova reports.

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001, tragic attacks that permanently changed the course of history and left lasting traces in the hearts of victims' families and all democratic world. The sheer horror and loss of nearly 3,000 lives remind us of the fragility of peace and the deep pain caused by this terrorist act. Images, grief and anxiety remain engraved on our collective memory. On this day we find strength in unity, standing alongside the American people, as always, in defense of peace, justice and a better future”, wrote the president
