Kosovo's Mountain Peace Research Service has announced that the operation for finding missing tours on September 5th has been suspended.
The suspension of the operation came as no trace was found for the missing tourist.
The report says that the operation has been conducted in four directions, one of the helicopter air and three lives from the earth.
With the date 12.09.2024 The ShKMK, after calling by Albanian authorities, has continued with the search for missing tourist on the date 05.09,2024. The operation has been conducted in close co-ordination and co-operation with the State Police, Albania's Armed Forces and Albania's Mountain Rescue Research Service. The operation has been conducted in four operational directions, one by helicopter air and another 3 from the ground, extending the search perimeter. We have also been co-ordinated with Montenegro's Mountain Rescue Service, which has held operation in the part of Montenegro. Unfortunately, there was no trace on the search. The operation is suspended until the collection of new information from the responsible authority”, the announcement says.
