OpenAI technology chief Mira Murati has announced the departure

OpenAI company technology chief Mira Murati has announced she is leaving this company after six and a half years.

Murati had served as chief executive of the company last year at the time there had been a failed stamp against the founder of the firm, Sam Altman.

Through an announcement she sent to the employees, which she also distributed to X, Murati said that “I made the decision to leave OpenAI”.

The removal of Murat comes after a series of senior officials from the artificial intelligence company, supported by Microsoft, have left this year, including founders Ilija Sutskever and John Schulman.

OpenAI, the company that owns ChatGPT, is one of the companies that has experienced the most growing in the world.

“Never is it the right time to leave the country you value, but again, I feel that this is the right decision”, said Murati, 35-year-old engineer from Albania's Vlora.

Murati said he is leaving the company because he wants to create “times and space to explore”. She added that its main focus would be for the company to have a “training” easy after the decision to leave the company.

OpenAI Chief Executive Sam Altman, in an X post, thanked Mira Mura “for everything”.

He said Mira Murati was a very important person for OpenAI, “for our mission and for us all personally”.

I am extremely grateful to her for the help she has offered to build and achieve, but above all, I feel personal gratitude to her for her support and love in difficult times. I can't wait to see what she's going to do now”, he said.

The Open's growth has accelerated since 2022 launched the ChatGPT app. Currently, it is believed that the value of the company is more than $150 billion.
