Finance Minister Iron Murati said yesterday that the country's economy “has continued growth in the second quarter of this year with 4.27% in real terms, according to the AKS”. He said he has clearly performed on growth projections of 3.8%-3.9%.

Sustainable economic growth is continuing in the second quarter of the year, even beyond initial projections. Our employment measures, support for business and local producers, good governance and institutional stability are our pillars of development”, Kurti wrote.
These statements have been responded to by LDK deputy Hykmete Bajrami, who said citizens know exactly how much purchasing power they have and that they have never been more worthless.
