The presentation of the expert report on the level of management of the working relationship of members of the Foreign Service and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has triggered clashes between position and opposition. The VV demanded that this reporting be postponed, but the opposition rejected it because expert payment is impossible.
Although experts were nominated by the Vetevendosje Movement, the latter today rejected the report by finding it. It said that voting on this report is necessary to pay experts for the work they have done.
Initially, the expert committed to this process, Shkelqim Jakupi, said the report has been sent to the relevant commission, but added it is initial and incomplete.
He recommended giving the longest space to complete the entire report.
I've sent the report two months now to the corresponding commission. It's a non-final initial report. The report is divided into 10 key chapters such as MPJD organisation, appointments, contests, transfer management, counseling appointments and so on. The findings of expertise are missing, due to the failure of work, not listening to witnesses especially in the short term to produce professional expertise. The recommendations are that this report does not need to be considered or approved by the Investigative Commission, we asked that as an expert in continuing the mandate to complete our expertise. 1202 pages have received material in a very short time, you've initially engaged three experts and today it's just me. Based on that, we'd need at least a month to finish these three chapters. We have had no obstacle from anyone from the Ministry but time is limited. All of these are separate issues and separate analysis”, Jakupi said.
Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ariana Musliu-Shoshi sees the vote on this report as reasonable.
I would agree if this was the final reporting, in the interview of witnesses and others. You've had a very short time, I hope the list of witnesses is approved, I appreciate that it's just an initial report I've read carefully and it's okay”, she said.
The chairman of this commission, Time Kadrijaj, demanded that this commission be voted in due to the defeat experts have made.
We vitally vote on this report for the work they have done. This report is that with the pay experts for the commitment they've made, I don't see a reason to postpone this”, Kadrij said.
While ruling party deputy Gazmend Grandpaca demanded that this meeting be postponed for Monday.
I'm agreeing that the job done, on the other hand alone today is the presentation by the expert, we need time to analyze and see what's black on white. And the second of our group is missing three, four more. If Monday's meeting takes place, we have time to see what's written and vote”, Grandparenta said.
