RMV Prime Minister Hristian Mickoski has spoken of the possibility of dividing Albania from Macedonia on the road to the EU. He said this would happen and that it is a bad message for the people.
Mickoski also said Macedonia has done many that other states have not done, but that the obstacle remains the Bulgarian veto.
Look, this is probably going to happen, yeah. This was announced since I was in Brussels, and it was said. This is again something with which the bad message is shown to the citizens of Macedonia. Because we as a country have been through a lot in these two and a half decades, since we've started our way towards full EU membership”, Mickoski said, among other things.
Otherwise, ambassadors of EU countries a voice decided to start negotiations with Albania for EU membership.
This will happen on 15 October in Luxembourg, under the Intergovernmental Conference “EU-Albania”
