A man in Pec was arrested for marrying a minor girl.

The suspect and victim have been interviewed, and with the prosecutor's decision the minor has returned to her parents, Kosovo police have announced. And the suspect has been released in regular procedure.

“Peje / 28.09.2024-10:30. The Kosovo male suspect has been arrested after the same man had married the Kosovo female victim of minor age. The suspect and victim have been interviewed and, at the prosecutor's decision, the victim has gone to her parents, while the suspect has been released in regular procedure”, said the police report.
