Through a communique, the prime minister's office has announced that Kurti, calling for the removal of the measures, called for “to handle Kosovo's application to the European Union and Kosovo to be granted the questionnaire and candidate country's status for membership”
The European Union's expansion, especially after Russian military aggression in Ukraine, was the best response for all who threaten peace and unity in Europe. In this context, Prime Minister Kurti called for the Kosovo application to the European Union and Kosovo to be addressed by the questionnaire and candidate country's status for membership. At the same time, it called for the restrictive measures on Kosovo, which it called unfair and not fair, to be removed”, said the communiqué.
“As far as the Development Plan is concerned, Prime Minister Kurti said Kosovo has been one of the first countries to hand over the Reforms Agency, thus showing its commitment to the Growth Plan. On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Berlin Process, he confirmed his support for this process as he voiced his and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's commitment to new agreements, and at the same time stressed the importance of fully implementing the four furniture agreements signed in 2022 in Berlin”, ZKM reported.
