Lajcak will hold meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, the Serbian Presidency confirmed.
Slovenian diplomat wrote on September 8th on Facebook that he will visit Belgrade to prepare the next meeting within the dialogue for normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
For the same purpose, Lajcak visited Kosovo last week. While in Pristina, Lajcak said reconciliation has been reached for the new round of dialogue between Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, and Serbia's Petar Petkov. However, the European emissary did not indicate when this meeting will be held.
During the media address in Pristina, after meeting with Bistim, Lajcak also said Serbia has withdrawn the letter it sent to Brussels last year, through which it has expressed reservations regarding the Agreement on the road to normalisation of reports and Anex for its implementation.
Serbia's then Prime Minister Anna Brnabyq sent the EU a letter through which he said the agreement is only acceptable in a context that does not refer to recognition de facto and de jure of Kosovo.
The 11 provisions agreement, among other things, envisions a level of self-awareness for the Serb community in Kosovo and mutual recognition of state symbols, while calling on Pristina and Belgrade to implement, as well, all previous agreements reached during the dialogue. / REL
