At least seven killed by new Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities

Ukrainian officials in Kiev and several other regions in Ukraine have reported missile attacks from midnight to dawn, September 4 as a result of which at least seven people were killed. The new attacks were reported just one day after the most deadly Russian attacks in Ukraine, [...]

The new attacks were reported just a day after the most deadly Russian attacks on Ukraine from the start of the war in 2022, after at least 51 people were killed at a central military training centre.

The leaders of the military administrations in Kiev and Lviv, in the east, and an official in Krivih Rheh, have warned that floating missiles have been detected heading towards populated centres.

The blasts could have been heard in three cities.

In Lviv, military administration chief Maxym Kozytskiy said three people were killed and at least 25 others were injured.

In Krivih Rich, in the centre of Ukraine, local politician Oleksandr Vilku, has said five people were injured, but none were seriously injured.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials are also dealing with the attacks of the day before in the town of Poltawa, which has killed dozens.

The governor of the Polta region, Filip Pronin, has said on September 3rd that the search-saving teams are still searching for survivors.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said they will launch investigations into the causes of the incident.

Shortly after the attack, great criticism has been made, since it has been reported that the cadets have gathered in an outer environment for a graduation ceremony, and thus have been offered an opportunity to target them.

Vladislav Seleznev, Ukrainian military analyst and former spokesperson for the Ukrainian Army General Staff, has said the Kremlin is guilty of the attack, but it must be clearly understood and Kiev's responsibility.

Zelensky has continued calls to the West to supply Kiev with air protection systems and long-range missiles, “to protect the state against Russian terror”.

Unfortunately, every late day means more lives lost”

The war in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.

Russian President Vladimir Putin calls war <x0 military special operation” to demilitarise Ukraine.

The West has responded to Russia, striking the economy of this state with severe sanctions.

As a result of the war, thousands have died, and millions of others have been displaced from their homes. / REL/
