According to NATO's announcement, patrols are one of several activities KFOR performs on a daily basis in support of sustainable security throughout Kosovo.
KFOR says it continues to implement its mandate, authorised by the UN Security Council of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
