KFOR continues with fixed presence on Ibër Bridge: Any decision to be made through dialogue

Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR has spoken about the Ibër Bridge opening issue.

In an answer to ExpressKFOR has shown that their stance has not changed. KFOR has recalled that any decision on this subject should be made through dialogue.

KFOR has indicated it will continue with the tribal presence on the bridge.

“On the issue of the possible opening of the Iber River bridge in Mitrovica for vehicles, our attitude has been transparent and consistent all the time. Any decision in this regard should be made through dialogue and in timely and effective co-ordination with the international community. Meanwhile, KFOR will maintain its fixed presence on the bridge and continue to conduct regular patrols in surrounding areasThe KFOR's response to Gazeta Express is reported.
