Kaya Kallas instead of Borelli, what awaits Kosovo in dialogue?

Estonese Kaya Kallas, who is soon expected to replace Josep Borrell as the European Union's new foreign policy chief, may be harsher, but in relation to Kosovo may have a slightly more positive approach.

However, the connoisseurs of the dialogue process estimate that, in addition, radical changes cannot be expected, since the European bloc's steering wheel is in the hands of member states.

For Borell and Lajcak, the prime minister complained that when there are violations from Serbia, there is no whistle playing.

In the field of dialogue, the references will soon be changed. The referee's role in the European Union's foreign policy chief's costume, instead of Spaniard Josep Borell, will be played by Estonian Kaya Kallas, the politician who by July of this year was Estonia's prime minister.

The Kallas Lady as the foreign chief will be much tougher but for all parties, so it's a very good reference, but I haven't been very enthusiastic in the sense of that because the obligations we have, we can't get away from them, no matter who comes to refer to”, has declared Dr. Arifi Professor,

The university professor says that by mid-October things will be defined, and a dialogue will be opened within the European Commission, where Kallas is expected to reveal her vision.

Besides that, according to Arifi, the most important thing is for the European Union to reopen another dialogue within it, in order to withdraw from neutrality and accept Kosovo as a state that actually exists.

Despite changes in the European bloc's hierarchy, analyst Visar Ymer, except for a slightly more positive approach, does not expect radical changes, as member states according to him have the wheel in their hands.

And I think what I'd like to see is that with Lady Callas coming to her post and then seeing who's being placed as Mr. Callas's replacement. Lajcak will have more pressure on Serbia, or at least proposals to increase Serbia's pressure to implement its part of the deal. Shh. We are in sanctions like Kosovo, and we know why we are in sanctions like Kosovo, not acting like we don't know, but on the other hand Serbia is responsible for the attack on Banjska, for which it has not received any kind of punishment”, Ymer has declared.

Ymer, however, thinks that in the eyes of internationals it is not only Serbia side that is not implementing the agreements.

Estonez Kallas has met several times with Kosovo leaders and is known for its pro-integration of the Western Balkans into the EU, critical of Russia and kind of NATO's role in Europe.
