Through a Facebook post, Lajcak has indicated that after having talked with Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislim in Pristina, he has gone to Belgrade to prepare for the meeting of key negotiators in Brussels while telling about Tuesday's meetings.
He said they failed to agree on the agenda of a trilate meeting.
“Although we failed to agree on the agenda of the trilateral meeting, we discussed political and technical issues and introduced the important steps that will guide our next discussion”, Lajcak wrote.
He added that dialogue has been the main focus of the past two weeks, but has also participated in several other activities.
Otherwise, Bislimi announced after the meeting that at the bilateral meeting with Lajcak, the main topic has been the way forward in implementing the Basic Agreement and annexing of implementation in Ohrid, for which Kosovo and Serbia agreed in 1923, but have not made steps for its implementation.
The Ohrid Agreement, of 11 provisions, also envisions a level of self-awareness for the Serb community in Kosovo, mutual recognition of state symbols so that Serbia does not block Kosovo's membership in international organisations, and calls for Pristina and Belgrade to implement, as well, all previous agreements reached during dialogue.
