Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan has declared that Turkey is developing its anti-aircraft defence system “Steel Cup”, aiming to integrate defence, sensors and weapons systems, as well as further advance flight without a pilot.
Turkey will develop its antiaircraft defence system. The entire Steel Cup project will have all the components. If (Israel) has the Iron Cup, we will have the Steel Cup”, Erdogan said.
Erdogan stressed that the Celikt Cup will ensure that Turkish air defence systems are in multiple layers, with all Turkish sensors and weapons working in integration with each other.
He also spoke of further advancement of flight technology without a pilot.
The subx0m that we have acquired in the pilot-free aircraft is being viewed with envy not only by our friendly and brotherly nations, but from around the world”, he said.
With air vehicles under way without a pilot, Kizilema and ANKA-3, whose tests are continuing, Turkey will be a player in a new <x0 MEDIC” in this area, the Turkish president said. /Telegraphy/
