A Dugollian family member is also treated as secretary at the Ministry of Defence

Gafurr Dugolli, brother of MP Enver Dugolli, is the new Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence.

He has been appointed to this position, given a unanimous vote of the government cabinet at the meeting held Wednesday.

 

 

Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia, who said the appointment is proposed in the Commission's assessment report on the recruits of officials to senior leadership positions, introduced the proposal to Dugolli.

Macedonia said Gafur Dugolli has resulted as the successful “candidida after developing recruiting procedures for this position, Paparaci reports.

 

 

“Allow me on behalf of the Ministry of Defence to propose for review and approval the decision by which the Secretary General's appointment to the Ministry of Defence is required. The proposal is based on the Commission's report of assessment for the development of all phases of senior leadership procedures, respectively, for choosing a successful candidate for the position of the secretary general in the defence ministry. Gafurr Dugolli”, Macedonia said.

Gafur Dugolli is the brother of Enver Dugolli, deputy of the Vetevendosje Movement that leads the government coalition. Enver Dugolli is also a member of the Parliamentary Defence and Security Affairs Commission, which oversees the work of the Ministry of Defence.

 

 

Prior to the position he was appointed Wednesday, Dugolli has held the position of chief of the protocol unit at the Ministry of Defence.
