Britain reportedly has given Ukraine permission for deep attacks within Russia

Great Britain has given Ukraine permission, behind closed doors, to use its long-range missiles to carry out deep attacks inside Russian soil, British media reports. According to the Guardian newspaper, government sources have said the decision has already been made to allow Kiev to use [...] floating missiles.

According to the Guardian newspaper, government sources have said the decision has already been made to allow Kiev to use British-made floating missiles Storm Shadow for attacks within Russia, although the decision has not been made public and will probably not be made public in the future.

British officials have not commented on the Guardian report.

Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has long called on Western countries to lift restrictions on his country for using long-range weapons for deep attacks within Russia.

On Tuesday, United States President Joe Biden said his administration is working to find a way to remove these restrictions.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his British counterpart, David Lamie, were on a joint visit to Ukraine on Wednesday, where they announced new aid to Kiev.

Blinken announced over 700 million dollars in aid to Ukraine, while Lami confirmed that his country will give Ukraine 600 million pounds of aid and guaranteed loans.

On Thursday, Russian forces carried out attacks in the town of Konotop in the Sumi region in northeast Ukraine on Thursday morning, where 14 people were injured, according to local officials.

Civil infrastructure and power facilities were targeted at attacks, they say.

The region's military administration said Russia used Shahed-type kamikaze fears during these attacks.

Russia has systematically hit Ukraine's energy infrastructure, causing tremendous damage, which has limited the supply of current residents and caused continued reductions.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has responded by carrying out deep-defence attacks within Russia, where it has damaged power facilities that are crucial to the Russian Army, mainly oil depots. / REL/
