In a statement outlining next week's activities of EU officials during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the EC has written that Borrell “will host six leaders from the Western Balkans for a traditional working lunch”.
The UN session in New York, according to the EC report, will be attended by a high-level EU delegation, including Borrell and EC President Ursula von der Leyeen.
The EU's “Pokus will be dealing with global conflicts and crises”, said further in the statement.
Von der Leeyen hosted the six Balkan prime minister at a work lunch Thursday: Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Hristian Mockoski, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojke Spajic, chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Council of Ministers, Borjana Christo and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. It was discussed progress in the Reform Agency.
