Manuel Sarrazin, Germany's envoy for the Western Balkans, has spoken with <x0-letter key” about dissatisfaction with Kosovo government for CEFTA. In an interview for Time, Sarrazzin has sent a clear message to the Government of Kosovo, saying that “you can block yourself”.
In addition, Sarrazin has said that “should explain here to the Government of Kosovo” that in terms of the common market, “also without Kosovo if necessary”.
“Now we have the main principle in the European Union and now you can only block yourself and I have to explain here to the Government of Kosovo that we will continue with agreement on these issues, regarding the common free market, even without Kosovo if necessary. This is my message today” he said.
Regarding Kurti's refusal today, German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde, who found that Kosovo Prime Minister rejected a compromise proposed by Sarrazin about CEFTA, which envisioned UNMIK being replaced with Kosovo on board.
“Manuel Sarrazin visited Kosovo again to promote Albin Kurti to compromise for CEFTA, enabling major freedoms for Kosovo citizens, replacing U n NMIC with Kosovo on board without success.
