A Spanish National Police operation led to the arrest of 10 people in Madrid's Carabanchel district, including Haredin Feyzulla, accused of leading a Belgium-based gang devoted to the cultivation and trafficking of cannabis, an illegal business with which they amassed a wealth of more than four million euros.
He was sentenced in 2022 to 29 years in prison by the Brussels court, but after his decision he escaped.
According to police, investigations into his investigation began in January 2023, due to suspicions that he could hide in Madrid.
