MP from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Rashit Qalaj, has condemned the act of arresting the Serbian politician in the north, Aleksandar Arsenijevic, saying it constitutes limits to human rights.
Access to “RTK Prime” has said we must make sure that the law applies equally to all.
“Today it has been noted that the situation is not normal. I was worried about the arrest of a young politician there who whistled at the presence of the prime minister there. When talking about law order, we need to make sure that the order and law also implements power, institutions, citizens”, he said.
He has said such actions cannot extend sovereignty in the country's north.
Kosovo Police should be ashamed of the action, if the arrest is for whistles, because it has the right everyone in this country to express support or opposition for what it wants”, the MP has declared PDK.
