The witness was arrested by several KLA members in 1999 and sent to a KLA complex. There the witness has been mistreated, interrogated, and held in inhumane conditions. He has also witnessed the abuse of a victim with his own eyes and has heard the beatings of several other persons held banned along with that”, the prosecutor stressed.
According to the chairman of the court, Charles Smith III, the testimony of this witness is expected to last about a day. By this time, an hour has been envisioned for SPS questions, while an average of about two hours for defence teams. Smith III has said that the question for the witness will also be protected by the victims.
At this session, all the accused are present in the courtroom, except Hashim Thaci, who is conveying him through video connection. Also, Judge Fergal Gaynor is virtually present.
