The candidates for vice presidents in the United States have agreed to face a debate, to be organised by CBS News on October 1st.
The CBS announced it had offered four potential debates in September and October to the Democrat Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, and the republican Ohio senator J.D. Vance.
See you on October 1, J. D”, Woz wrote on X, before the Democrat candidate for president campaign, Kamala Harris, officially confirmed that Walz agreed to participate in the debate.
Vance also said he has accepted the October 1st debate, suggesting CNN has offered to hold a debate earlier on September 18th.
Vance said that “ky will not be like any other false debates... where there is no public”, like the one that took place on June 27th between President Joe Biden and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Harris and Trump are expected to participate in the September 10th debate, which will be organised by ABC News.
Harris later entered the White House race after President Biden withdrew from running even for a presidential mandate, due to concerns about his age and declining support for him. After his withdrawal, he backed Harris for the Democrats' candidate for the November 5th election. /rel
