Mission UNMIK in Kosovo has criticised the Kosovo government for the yesterday's act of closing Serbia's nine post offices in four Serb-inhabited north, calling it “unilateral action ... which negatively affects the daily lives of Serbs”.

“Special Representative of Secretary General (PSSP) and UNMIK Chief Caroline Ziadeh express concern for recent developments in northern Kosovo that continue to negatively affect daily life and the socio-economic rights of affected communities, including the recent closure. of nine Serbian Post Office branches in northern municipalities by authorities in Pristina”, UNMIK writes.
