He has said the power tends to talk about big topics to hide failures in government, and one of the failures he has seen education.
The start of the new school year is approaching, today a week is the first day of the school year, but preparations for this vital event seem to have been completely neglected. This situation is incomprehensible and unwarranted by a government, well aware of the starting date of the school year, but it has failed to make minimum preparations, to inform citizens, and to guide parents and children, who for the first time start their educational course. Parents are insecure and unclear about school preparations as well as about the distribution of their texts and money. A government that does not take such an important process seriously has failed its basic responsibilities”, Tahiri wrote.
He has said there has been no investment in scientific research at Pristina University in four years.
“Infrastructure has been neglected, while infrastructure nests and investments have become empty promises for voters. The government's failure to manage education is no longer hidden. It's concrete, visible and felt by every family in the country. Education is the basis for developing a nation, and when this base is weak, a country's future is at stake. The despair is so great and concrete failure. This is because of false promises. This situation must change immediately. Citizens will stop this failure on February 9th!”, Tahiri wrote among other things.
