Kosovo Public Television Board deputy head Albulen Mehmeti has attacked Besnik Boletin and Arta Berisha following their resignation from the position of chairman and member of the Board, as he did not distance himself from Slobodna Bosna's false news, later published by RTK without any verification.

Boletin announced yesterday that his resignation is linked to the scandal of the Slobodna Bosna article published in RTK, where Periscope and Nacional were launched.

He has suggested that the report's findings clearly showed RTK violated professional standards. He has accused RTK deputy director Adi Krasta of not wanting to take action against those who caused the scandal.

Mehmet called them “Proposal” Boletin's attitudes about publishing the biased and unconfirmed article by RKJ, while accusing of resigning that “has not resigned just as RTK Law asks”.

She further took an extremely controversial stance on publishing unverified news from RTK, adding that “is not in charge of RTK board to meet neither the requirements nor the contacts of any private portal for how to be managed from within RTK”.

“However, I think it is not up to RTK board to meet even the requirements of no private portal for how it is managed from within RTK and what it decides to broadcast and what not and how to take measures. ”
