Slovak swimmer Tamara Potocka crashed after the end of a swimming race at the Olympic Games this morning, leaving spectators at the Paris Water Centre shocked as she rushed to a stretcher.
The 21-year-old competed in a women's mixed individual-style series at 200m at 10:30am and left the pool, ranking seventh, losing the qualifications for later rounds.
She was seen sitting by the pool for a few seconds in an apparent state of concern, while eight other swimmers lined up for the next series before falling backward.
Organisers realised that something was wrong and postponed the next race as medical staff arrived at the scene.
The doctors quickly placed an oxygen mask on the faces of the motionless Slovak cloud before carefully loading it on a stretcher and hastily pulled it out of the La Defensee arena.
Right now, she's not known about her condition.
