Rohde has welcomed the current statement by Prime Minister Kurti for co-ordination with partners.
“Full support for NATO and their red lines for the bridge in Mitrovica. Last year's unilateral actions have resulted in injuries from KFOR soldiers and civilians, and this should not be repeated. International counsel must be taken into account”, written Rohde in “X”.

US Ambassador Jeff Havenier in an interview for RELUI, addressed a prayer to the Government of Kosovo along with warnings of security risks in its attempt to open the Ibër Bridge.
“Please, do not take this action now”, he said, until he indicated his government's displeasure with Kosovo's.
While KFOR has said it will not hesitate to act in response to any security development, adding that it is well-placed “to take all necessary measures”.
