New protests in Valley Warningd

Ragmi Mustafi, former head of the Albanian National Council in the Presevo Valley, underlined that protesters are willing to continue with other activities if their demands are not met, including organising new protests and escalation of actions to civic inconsequentity.
He praised the international silence on this issue as disappointing and incomprehensible, calling for immediate action to protect the rights of Albanians in the Presevo Valley.
The organisational protest council will consider the possibilities for future steps in their efforts for justice.
“Protesters are determined to continue with other activities if their demands are not met. Citizens are willing to mobilise and organise new protests to protect their rights, including the escalation of protests until civic inconsistencies, so that concrete measures can be heard and taken to stop discrimination. Silence is disappointing and incomprehensible even by internationals. While human rights is strongly protected in many other cases, the issue of Albanians in the Presevo Valley does not dare to pass in silence. Certainly the organisational protest council will consider opportunities to take next steps”, Mustaf said.
