Osman for the murder of the woman by her husband: Such atrocities must be tolerated

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has reacted following the murder of a woman suspected of having occurred from her husband in Gracanica.

Osmani said she is terrified and indignant at her husband's brutal murder by her husband, while saying such atrocities that are continuing to affect Kosovo society should not be tolerated.

“This cruel act is not an isolated incident, but a disturbing act of violence against women that requires immediate and decisive action”.

The “Institutions of Justice must make sure that through accurate enforcement of laws and punishment guides they end childicide. Unfortunately, we see very often cases when offenders are released with sentences far lower than those presented by law”, Osman wrote.

The first of the state expressed its condolences to the victim's family, where he said they were at the side of all those who lost their families because of the childicide.

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has assigned the detention measure for a month to the man suspected of killing his wife.
