The government decided in advance that the minimum wage would rise to 350 euros in gross.
Murati said the month-long deadline for implementing this decision was set to give companies and institutions time to prepare for changes to the salary lists.
“Determination of the new minimum wage has already been made for hours of work, as well as if this is translated full-time, then results in 350 gross monthly salary and will start applying by October. The reason is for companies to manage to adjust wage lists”, Murati said.
He said the Finance Ministry will be provided through its mechanisms for this decision to be implemented. That, he said they would do “through routine checks”.
