In a joint speech with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Macron said normalising relations between Kosovo and Serizawa is an integral part of the process of approaching the European Union, which was discussed much in several European capitals.
He stressed that the issue will not be resolved without compromise on both sides, and if there is no political courage to reach a solution.
In that sense, he commended the Serbian authorities for the decisions made late last year to begin implementing the Ohrid Agreement.
“With our European partners we have said how worried we are about Kosovo's unilateral moves that do not send good signals. Make sure France continues to monitor the conditions in which the Serb community in Kosovo lives. In that sense, we are especially committed to forming the Serb Communist Community”, Macron said.
He added that his main message today is the message of determination and faith.
“We will continue to support European mediation efforts, to achieve progress in relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which is crucial for the Western Balkan region, and thus your relations with all partners will improve, we will have free movement and color. life for all citizens”, Macron said.
