Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovalla has requested impartial “from North Macedonia institutions about the incident involving Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, with what the latter was subjected to a strict security control at Skopje Airport.
“After all, we discussed the latest incident at Skopje Airport, with which we reiterated our institutions' concern about the incident and the need for a full and impartial investigation by North Macedonia institutions to ensure that such situations never repeat again”, wrote Gervala.

The mutual devotion in strengthening neighbourly relations, realising interstate infrastructure projects and close co-operation in the Berlin Process, in maintaining security and stability in the region were the main topics of the meeting that today together with the prime minister, Albin Kurti and fellow ministers held in Skopje with the new prime minister of Northern Macedonia, Hristian Mickoski and the respective ministers.
After all, we also discussed the recent incident at Skopje Airport, with which we reiterated our institutions' concern about the incident and the need for a full and impartial investigation by North Macedonia institutions to ensure that such situations never repeat again.
The Republic of Kosovo and Northern Macedonia will work closely towards advancing bilateral relations, realising projects affecting citizens of both states and preserving peace and security in the Balkans.
