I have never had more consultations and co-ordination, and I am optimistic that we will also have rule of law and freedom of movement on one side of peace, security on the other. The opening of the bridge is against no one, is for the Serb community for Albanians, Bosniaks and all minorities. Europe has broken down all the walls, we're in Europe, and we have to open this 148x1 bridge.
The prime minister said he would not allow this issue to drag on indefinitely until he insisted that the bridge should be opened.
We are interested in opening the bridge on the basis of the plan that we have shared with American and European allies. We have held consultations with Serbs in northern Kosovo, even in the south, with Albanians and the northern and southern municipality. We've tested the bridge's sustainability and we're doing a design, an decoration because we have to take care of the visual view of this bridge. We want to do it as soon as possible, but neither will we surprise our partners on one side nor allow this issue to drag on indefinitely. We have good will and purpose. It's useful for all of this bridge to open”.
