Matthew Miller, the State Department spokesman, has said that the recent uncoordinated actions of the Government of Kosovo jeopardise the possibilities the country has created with the help of the US.

At a present-day conference with journalists, Miller was asked by a Serbian journalist if there will be actions towards Prime Minister Albin Kurti for, as she put it, “violation of red lines”.

I won't speculate about future actions. I can say that we are concerned with continuing decisions uncoordinated by the Kosovo leadership. We believe they endanger the possibilities that we helped Kosovo create”, Miller said, among other things.

He said the US has been Kosovo's powerful partner since its 2008 declaration of independence, while said they encourage the Kosovo government to work with its close partners.

If you look at the confession since Kosovo independence, the US has strongly supported its full integration into the international community as sovereign and multiethnic democracy. But to realize this vision, which is the vision that we share, we have collaborated with Kosovo's continuing political leaders in measures that strengthen peace and prosperity within as we advance Kosovo on this Euro-Atlantic path in which you reconciled”.

“We would encourage the Kosovo government to return to its close and constructive engagement with the United States, the EU, NATO and other close international partners of Kosovo and make it clear, as I am now publicly doing, we have made it clear to the government and private”, the spokesman for DASH, Matthew Miller.
