Over six kilos of heroin and cocaine seized in handcuffs, two persons

Kosovo police, on the date of 21.08.24, after receiving information on two different cases of narcotics, as a result of the field's investigative and operational action company, have arrested two suspected persons, as well as seized narcotics substances of heroin and cocaine.

Case one:

Kosovo police, the Directorate for Trafficking in Narcotics in Pristina, respectively, in co-operation with local security institutions, by the date of 21.08.2024, after intensive-investigial work on the ground, have undertaken operational steps, with which the suspects have identified a citizen of northern Macedonia, who was suspected of having a possession ready for sale of a quantity of the suspected narcotics substance.

Suspects upstairs by car, the suspected narcotic substance, have been brought to two more people, who drove away from the scene.

After the Kosovo Police's intervention in the suspected person has been found 6 (six) packages with suspected narcotic substance of the type of heroin totaled 6.137.6 grams (6 kilograms of 137 grams), where the value of the alleged narcotics substance that has been confiscated is estimated to be about 150,000 euros (a hundred and fifty thousand euros).

Other material evidence has been seized in the quality of material evidence:

• Two cell phones,
• a car,
• 4305 denars of northern Macedonia.

All the actions taken and the evidence found seized were carried out with the author's author's authorization.

The suspected person has been associated with an interview in the presence of the defence attorney and with the state prosecutor's decision the suspect is detained for 48 hours, while the other two are on the run.

Case two:

With the date 21.08.2024, following the acceptance of some information Kosovo Police in Ferizaj have stopped for control of the car with foreign license plates, where a package of cigarettes has been found during which a nylon bag of suspected cocaine was found. Under suspicions that another amount of narcotics could be found has been searched by a residential home in Ferizaj, where the suspect lives, but nothing suspected has been found.

The quality of material evidence is sequencing:

• A nylon bag with suspected cocaine-like narcotics substance, with a total weight of 38.62 grams, the value of the suspected narcotic substance is estimated to be around 3500 euros.
• money in paper coin 50 euros and 1500 Swedish crust.

In connection with the case, the competent prosecutor, whose order the suspect after the interview has been detained for 48 hours, has been notified of all actions.
