Kastrati: CIA director's visit to Kosovo, bad news, Kurti can't promote it as a success

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ardian Kastrati has spoken about the CIA's visit to Kosovo, saying such a visit could be seen as bad news. He said that William Burns' visit to Kurti, Dodik and Vuciq can be seen as a signal that the situation is delicate [...]
He said that William Burns' visit to Kurti, Dodik and Vuciq can be seen as a signal that the situation is delicate and that diplomatic channels may not be enough to address these topics.
MP The PDK said usually the CIA chief visits crisis centres that are exposed to risks.
The CIA Director's visit to a small country like Kosovo can be seen as bad news for some reason. One of these may also be security issues that can affect regional instability. Visits of Kurti's top intelligence official, Dodik and Vucic can also be seen as a signal that the situation is delicate and that diplomatic channels may not be enough to address these topics. The CIA chief usually visits crisis centres that are exposed to external risks that require special attention and increased caution as local actors' behaviour is irresponsible” said Kastrati.
MP The PDK said Kurti, such a visit, cannot promote it as a success.
He said success is considered when US government representatives arrive helping economic development.
Kurti cannot promote this as a success. The opposite has happened. On behalf of Kosovo nobody dares play with regional security architecture where Kurti has no investment, but the main investors are the US and NATO. Especially not at the time when Burns has increased commitment to wars in Gaza and Ukraine. Success is when U.S. government representatives come to support Kosovo's economic development and with Kurti this is not the case”
Let's hope Kurt took these messages seriously and worked seriously on returning US partnership without entering artificial crises and gyms in the north of the country on behalf of VV votes and at the expense of Kosovo” PDK, Ardian Kastrati, for Blic newspaper.
American Central Intelligence Agency Chief (CIA) William Burns, before coming to Pristina, remained in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
Burns in Pristina held meetings with President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
The latter described the meeting as a historic moment with the first American Intelligence officer.
