Havenier: Kurti government is affecting Kosovo's relationship with US

US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier has said the United States remains committed to helping the people of Kosovo, despite its government's “challenger action”, which has said they are affecting the country's partnership with the US, reports EO. These statements, the ambassador made after signing the grant agreement worth $35m between Kosovo and U. AID, by what means, has stressed that the US's “devotion to the people of Kosovo remains just as strong and iron as always”.
Many of you have seen the report in the media on the already differentials between the United States and other members of the international community with the Government of Kosovo for certain actions that are directed by the government of Prime Minister Kurti”.
“We are facing some challenges with the current Kosovo government, which have affected the quality of our partnership. As the State Department deputy has said earlier, the American Government hopes the Government of Kosovo will return to its close and constructive engagement with the US, EU, NATO and other international partners of Kosovo”.
“Although some areas of co-operation with the current Kosovo government remain less positive than we would have hoped, the US commitment to the people of Kosovo remains just as strong and iron as always”, he has said.
