Germany and France message to Kosovo: Without compromise, no normal reporting

Macron visited Serbia and Sarrazini Kosovo on the same day. Both conveyed the message that compromises for progress are required on the sides.

“will not be resolved without compromise on both sides and, in line with the circumstances, if there is political courage to reach a” solution, President Macro has declared at the joint conference with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Belgrade on Thursday. At this conference, the agreement was signed that Serbia buys for nearly 3 billion euros 12 fighter planes “Rafare” from France.
While after meetings with heads of state in Kosovo, Emisari Sarrazini from Pristina Airport said compromises are required on the parties, while they have been linked to the European perspective of Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the Balkan region.

I came to Pristina next week and will travel across the region to prepare concrete results for Western Balkan citizens to move ahead on the right track. But compromises are needed, and sometimes the readiness for concessions, to agree on political agreements, which are not easy for Serbia, and are not easy for Kosovo either, Sarrazin said.

Before leaving, Sarrazin has met with leaders of institutions and opposition parties.

Apart from Sarazin, NATO Deputy Secretary Thomas Goffus has stayed in Kosovo on Thursday.
He has first met Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, where Ibri Bridge, whose opening has warned Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has been among the topics of discussion.

Through a communique, the Presidency said that at a meeting with NATO official Osmani has talked about the importance of a joint plan for opening the Bridge.

Germany and other QUINT states have criticised Government and Prime Minister Kurti for lack of co-ordination in the bridge issue. They have demanded that this issue be discussed in the dialogue mediated by Brussels.

Mission Meanwhile NATO in Kosovo has warned that they will not hesitate to face anyone who violates security in the north.

A day later Prime Minister Kurti said they are following consultations with internationals on the bridge issue, and are at the same time carrying out the “Home services” for the opening of the bridge. He mentioned that they are still awaiting the preliminary report following tests he conducted on the Bridge a company contracted by the Government of Kosovo.
