Fires in Prevalla, police come to the aid of firemen

Fires in the Prevala Mountains are continuing. Kosovo police have indicated that there has been a meeting today with Prizren municipality Emergency Director and other officials to co-ordinate actions to extinguish the fire.

Police spokesman for the Prizren region, Sacir Bytyci, has said police have come to the aid of firefighters and emergency services to put out the fire. Several volunteers have joined the event.

“Set to fire on the Presalla Mountains in the morning hours, today with 11.08.2024, the commander of Prizren Police Station has been meeting with Prizren City Emergency Director and other officials, and together are co-ordinated for actions to extinguish the fire. Police have come to the aid of firefighters and emergency services. Along with firemen in support of the prevalla fire extinguishers, several volunteers have gone to”, he said.
