Election Campaign in Kosovo Begins on January 11th

Office for Recording, Certificate and Financial Control of Political Subjects Director Besnik Buzhala said the total number of voters is over two million.
Members of the Central Election Commission have also adopted regulations for early and extraordinary elections.
Ariani Elshani from the Democratic Party of Kosovo has read the main deadlines in the election process, to be held on 9 February.
The “Declaration of political parties for forming election coalitions has a deadline of 16 August through 30 August. The application for certificate of political subjects and candidates begins on September 1st and ends on December 11th 2024. The draw of lots for ranking political subjects in the ballot will take place on January 7th. The election campaign period for political subjects and certificate candidates for voter turnout begins on January 11th and ends on Election Day before the opening of the deployments. The implementation of the voter service period for changing the polling centre within the municipality of citizens begins 29 August and ends on December 26th. The period of application for voter registration outside Kosovo begins 29 August and ends on December 26th. The deadline for sending ballotes via mail and in the post-level state box where the voter is registered or the nearest state where the mailbox is opened begins on January 9th and ends on February 8th”, he said.
