Kosovo Statistics Agency Director Avni Kastrati has said about RTK that the preliminary data shows that an estimated 600 thousand people living in the diaspora have been registered.
Praising it as an important process, Kastrati has called on exiles to register because it is in their interest and Kosovo to correctly know the number of those living abroad.
Kastat told about RTK that there are some demands that the deadline be extended further for registration of exiles with the reasoning that they have not had access to information and are not properly informed.
That's not a problem in technical terms because we're out of data. But for that it is decided by the highest level, by the government”, Kastarti stressed.
