Former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Valdet Hoxha believes that following CIA chief's visit to the region, including Kosovo, we will have a new development in terms of security and political and diplomatic developments. According to Hoxha, changes in statements from some political leaders in the region have begun [...] are evidence of this.
According to Hoxha, the changes in statements from some political leaders in the region have begun after the CIA chief's visit.
For the former deputy minister, this visit shows that instead of intelligence-backed diplomacy, the governing role has taken on intelligence as a pilot of diplomacy.
“An unusual but very important visit both in terms of security and diplomatic terms because it is now seen that instead of intelligently based diplomacy it seems to have taken on the lead intelligence role as the forwarder of diplomacy”, Hoxha added.
Otherwise, American Central Intelligence Agency Chief (CIA) William Burns was in Kosovo on Thursday, where he met with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.
Before Kosovo, he was in Sarajevo, where he met with Republika Serpsla, Dodik and in Belgrade with Serbian President Vuciq.
